Does the Verizon special allow me to host a Web page?
Yes. Verizon High Speed Internet bundles and packages include 10 MB of Web space and you can also use the Verizon Web Builder Tool.
Can I connect more than one computer to the internet or create a home network?
Yes. The Verizon internet specials feature home networking solutions. We recommend that you upgrade your service to include the free wireless router if multiple computers will be used.
I travel frequently, can I access Verizon Internet if I’m traveling?
Yes. You can use Verizon dial up internet access to retrieve your emails while you are away from home. Additional charges may apply, see special offer details. You can also access your Verizon email from any computer with an Internet connection at no additional charge.
If I switch to Verizon, what happens to my current email account?
Verizon service includes a free subscription to TrueSwitch software which can forward all of your emails from your old account to your new account for up to 30 days. It even copies over all your old emails and contacts. TrueSwitch lets people know you have moved by sending out email messages informing them of your new email address.
