Steve wanted to know why he can’t get Bellsouth broadband or wireless high speed internet through his Directv satellite dish. He prefers to use Bellsouth internet service but wants to upgrade from dial up to high speed.

Jasmine is paying $46 per month for Comcast cable high speed internet service and was thinking of switching to AT&T Yahoo Pro DSL. If Comcast cable high speed internet service is the same 3 Mbps, then Jasmine could save $21 per month by switching from Comcast Cable to AT&T Yahoo DSL Pro, also 3 Mbps.

Darlene’s parents live in the country where high speed internet service is not available. Whenever Darlene sends pictures to her parents, it takes forever to download the pictures through a dial up internet connection. AT&T Yahoo DSL installation was no more difficult than setting up a dial up internet connection. Follow the Quick Start instructions, load the AT&T Yahoo DSL installation CD, answer a few questions, and I was able to access the internet in one sitting.

Julie was having trouble with our high speed internet check availability tool. She knew her email address was typed in correctly, but our high speed internet check availability tool kept saying Julie’s email address was invalid. Thanks to Julie the error has been corrected.

Joe was having trouble locating v.92 dial up internet access telephone numbers for his v.92 modem. This new technology offers some speed improvement for dial up internet users who can’t qualify for DSL or cable high speed internet.

AT&T Yahoo DSL high speed internet customer Mike wanted to down load the AT&T Yahoo DSL web page and log in instead of going through internet explorer. Mike accidentally uninstalled the software that he upgraded to. We recommend that Mike download Yahoo Messenger, then bookmark and set the Yahoo home page as his default start page in Internet Explorer.
