Hi Mike. Try calling AT&T Yahoo technical support back at a different time, during the morning versus at night. This way you can get a different support rep who might have knowledge and experience with your issue. Hopefully your ATT Yahoo member ID wasn't the issue, that would be too easy. Check for Windows and Internet Explorer updates at http://www.update.microsoft.com. I would try to install the software on another computer before asking someone to come out for a fee. Take a break and try again tomorrow on a different computer.

Hi,
I just purchased AT&T and Yahoo high speed internet. Th installation with 2wire is good until the step I got into internet to register. I had the welcome screen then th installation kept stopping at /img.member.yahoo.com/dl/..../sbc_dsl_ssetup..exe.

I do not know what is going on. I called yahoo 1-877 number. The technician told me many insconsistent facts. How's about changing to desktop versus laptop? he balmed it on my microsoft internet explorer 7.0. I have everything set at default. No spyware programs running etc... They want to send a technician to my place and charge me $150.00 per hour. My computer is a Dell laptop in 2005. My desktop is 12/2004 from Compaq.

Would anyone please tell me why I can not complete the last segments of install yahoo internet software for registration?
