We recently subscribed to Verizon high speed internet service thru aol and have not received our modem to be connected. How long does it take to receive the modem and how is it shipped?

Hi Erica, if you ordered Verizon DSL internet service using our check availability tool, you should have received a confirmation email. Your online receipt and your confirmation email provide you with important contact information and telephone numbers. If your online order authenticates (all data makes sense to the computer) and you selected a self install kit, the kit will be mailed within a few days. If authentication failed for some reason, the regional call center responsible for Verizon orders will attempt to contact you. If contact is needed and they cannot contact you within 5 days, the order will be canceled.
So my advice is to take another look at your order receipts. If there is no mention of a need to call and you ordered the DSL self install kit, the modem should be on it’s way. We state 10-14 days after the order is submitted as an aproximate time frame, but this includes those who need to schedule professional installation services.

Please call the number directed on the order confirmation page. Many of the service providers use multiple call centers. These call centers have different systems and some may not have a view of orders submitted through this channel.
I placed an order 4 days ago and haven’t heard anything what do I do?
It can take up to 5 days for the order to be processed; but you should have received an order confirmation and should be just waiting for a representative to contact you and/or your customer for installation. If this is not the case, you need to contact the carrier. (use the numbers on the receipt)
What happens after I place an order for broadband service through this site?
You will receive a confirmation email that will include details about your service plan and instructions for how to set up an installation time. We will also forward your request to the service provider. A representative of that company will get in touch with you to discuss your order further, if necessary.
